- We can withstand the scorching sun for hours
- We can sweat it out amidst the dust
- We can get to know the lives of the underprivileged
- We can get so much of satisfaction in a span of hours
And when we did, we realised that we have probably made a difference!
Today Team Sanjeevani conducted a Medical Camp in Rainbow School in the Saliyasahi slum.
With 400+ attendees, 5 doctors, 1 Physician and a room full of medicines, we had a great day spending with people from Saliyasahi.
For me, it was a day full of joy and satisfaction. Starting the day with teaming with Geo and Tanu for some necessary items, Camp arrangements with Abhishek, Vishal, Tanu, Shagun and Sneha, Reaching out to the individual houses for promotion with Pradeep (and learning little bit Odiya!), Collecting the snacks with Ved, the chat with OTV along with Ved, Vishal and Piyush and Teaming with Tanu for distributing the medicines, each and every moment will be cherished forever.
And so grateful to Anshuman, the doctor from our batch, who was really doing a great work, checking the medicines to be supplied and helping us in distributing them.
And finally, we did nothing great or voluntary; we rather tried to do our duty.
